Abdu Rozik, a rap artist from Tajikistan, gained worldwide fame due to his title as the "smallest singer in the world."

Rozik was born into a poor family in the village of Gishdara, located in the Panjakent district of Tajikistan. He was born with rickets, a metabolic childhood disease that results in a severe Vitamin D deficiency, preventing proper bone development and causing them to bend.

Because of the family's severe poverty, Rozik's parents were unable to afford the necessary treatment. This led to a halt in his growth at a certain point during his childhood.

For example, at 16 years old, Rozik weighed only 12 kilograms (about 26 pounds).

Based on internet records, Abdu Rozik is currently 18 years old, although his exact birth date is unknown.

Due to his delicate condition and his family's inability to support his music financially, Abdu Rozik receives backing from a Tajik rapper named Baron Behruz. Baron convinced Rozik's father to allow his son to pursue music instead of manual labor. Baron also took Rozik to world's top specialists for medical evaluations and discovered that there are treatments available that could allow him to grow an additional 50 centimeters (about 20 inches).

It may not be much, but for Rozik, this news is a dream he's eagerly waiting to see come true.
