A snowmobile rider in Utah captures the heart-stopping moment an avalanche engulfs him and his friends, yet they all escape unharmed.
A heart-stopping scene from Utah: A snowmobile rider named Miles Penrose was filming his brother when suddenly he felt the ground shaking.
Initially thinking it was an earthquake, Miles realized it was an avalanche. He quickly turned the camera to capture the moment. According to him, everything happened incredibly fast. "It was an unbelievable speed, indescribable in words. The snow covered everything, even me and my brother. In seconds, the camera screen went black."
Penrose recounted how the avalanche knocked him off his snowmobile and dragged him 20 meters away, but fortunately, he survived, as did the three other snowmobile riders. All emerged without a scratch from what could have been a deadly avalanche.
