The officer with eagle eyes is affectionately called "Memory Cop" by his colleagues. He uses his extraordinary ability to identify faces in order to catch suspects, including those wearing masks.

This English police officer has a photographic memory that allows him to remember faces even years after seeing them.

His remarkable skill has helped him catch criminals suspected of a wide range of offenses, including the most serious ones.

The officer claims his talent is "inexplicable," noting that he simply has good instincts. By 2018, he had apprehended 1,000 suspects, and last year, his incredible ability helped him catch 406 crime suspects, including 16 in just one day. Recently, he surpassed the 2,000 identified suspects mark.

Andy, aged 43, works for the West Midlands Police in England. Remarkably, he has managed to identify even those who wore masks due to COVID-19. He trusts his instincts to catch criminals, despite the challenges masks pose for identification. His skill made him a finalist in the "Brave Britons" competition in the category called "Against All Odds."

On average, Andy identifies one suspect every other shift, making him one of the first 20 people worldwide who are part of the "Super Recognizers" organization.

"Even though this year was different from all previous ones, I continued to prepare for my shifts and identify people as I did in any other year," he says. "The most important thing for me is to catch people who have committed crimes and ensure a safe and orderly society."
