Last week, a remarkable event took place in the Philippines that captured global attention. A newborn, just days old, was discovered abandoned in a bush, wrapped in a towel and still attached to its umbilical cord. The person who found him was a 36-year-old motorcyclist named General Fuentes Revilla, who was led to the scene by none other than a local dog that happened to be nearby.

In an interview, Fuentes recounted how the dog approached him persistently, barking and signaling for him to follow. "At first, I continued on my path, but when I noticed the dog kept running after me and barking, I decided to stop and follow it. It led me straight to the baby in the bush," he recalled.

Revilla expressed his disbelief that the baby was still alive under such circumstances.

"I picked him up and immediately rode to the hospital," Revilla recounted.

The local police continue their efforts to locate the infant's parents, urging the public to provide any information they may have regarding the case. Interestingly, a private organization has traced the identity of the dog, revealing that it is not a stray, but rather a pet owned by an individual named Kuya Lindon Olay.
