A YouTube personality from the U.S. decided to conduct an intriguing social experiment, filming college students receiving a $1,000 donation for book purchases or tuition aid. Most students happily accepted the money, thanked the unexpected donor wholeheartedly, and even promised to promote his YouTube channel (after all, who wouldn't for $1,000?!).

But among them was one student who chose to act differently with the surprising donation. "Today we are performing random acts of kindness with students here, giving you $1,000 for free. I'm posting this video on my YouTube channel, and you'll be able to see yourself there and tell your friends," the experiment's initiator stated.

"Here, I have $1,000, you can count it. It's for you," said the initiator as he pulled the money from his pocket and extended it to the student - but the student smiled sheepishly and quickly apologized: "I... I don't need it. My family is very fortunate and belongs to the top percentile. I appreciate it, but I'd prefer to see it go to someone who really needs the money."

The two shook hands with appreciation, not before the video creator asked the student's permission to publish the video on his channel to inspire many with his action.
