Reports of ghosts roaming the White House have circulated for years, but it’s a different story when such eerie accounts come from Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former U.S. President George W. Bush. Millions of viewers across the United States were astonished when she shared her experiences on one of the country's most popular shows.
According to Jenna, the stories of ghosts haunting the presidential residence are indeed true: "My sister and I are witnesses," she declared. She recounted this remarkable tale during a segment on the morning show 'Today', detailing an unsettling incident she and her sister Barbara encountered.
"We felt something was there. It must be that the White House is haunted. One night, in the middle of the night, my phone rang and woke Barbara and me. Suddenly, out of nowhere, we heard 1920s music playing from the fireplace in the room. We were terrified," she explained.
Jenna continued, saying that over time, the memory was pushed to the back of their minds. Both she and her sister tried convincing themselves it didn’t really happen. "But then I spoke to a man named Buddy who works in the White House and told him: 'You won’t believe what I heard at night.' Before I even finished, he said, 'Jenna, you wouldn’t believe the things I’ve heard here.' I’m telling you, there are ghosts," she concluded.
Many conspiracy theories about these ghosts’ identities often claim it is the spirit of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States, who was assassinated before completing his term.
