Clear Cola: Japan's Bold New Beverage Innovation
Introducing Japan's new transparent cola. What's its flavor, how many calories does it have, and do we even want it stateside?
What else can be invented? After launching a new line of cola slush drinks, the global Coca-Cola company is back at it again—this time with a completely bizarre beverage that is hitting the shelves in Japan: a clear Cola Zero with a refreshing lemon twist.
Interestingly, among the responses online, many weren't too fond of this novel invention—it tastes like a cross between Sprite and Diet Cola with lemon. "This time Coca-Cola didn't quite nail the flavor," wrote one of the 'disappointed' users.
