When Ayla Hemeon was driving on the highway and was suddenly asked to pull over by a police patrol, she knew her stressful day was about to end really badly. The last thing she needed was a ticket, but she knew she had exceeded the speed limit this time.
Suddenly, the officer stood by her car and began to ask her questions. "He asked why I was in such a hurry, and I told him the whole truth. That I'm a full-time working mom and was rushing so my daughter could do her homework as soon as possible. Out of stress, I also told him I was on my way to visit my elderly parents. Although I didn't expect much sympathy since he was just doing his job, I spoke rapidly without thinking too much about my words."
"I deserve it," she thought to herself when the officer showed a neutral expression to the 'excuses' she made, and then he went to the patrol car to write the ticket. But when the officer returned the second time and handed her the ticket, Hemeon's eyes filled with tears. "Instead of writing the amount I had to pay, the officer wrote me a heartfelt note and simply told me to drive safely. 'Thank you for all you do. Thank you for the care you have for your daughter, and the thought for your elderly parents. Have a nice day,' he signed off."
"He made my day," Ayla summed up on her Facebook page, alongside the 'ticket' she had received.
