Summers in New Orleans are particularly sweltering, and that's exactly why Sonic's top biotech minds decided to add a special pickle drink to their lineup of new beverages.
"Pickle Juice Slushie" is the moniker of this new concoction made from ice and fresh pickle juice.
Those who have tasted it describe it as "sweet despite the initial shock or disgust", reported Food & Wine magazine journalists, who embarked on a special tasting mission. "It even glows in the dark. It's a pity it's a limited edition for now," they added.
