1. Rabbi Levi Shemtov is a Chabad Hasid living in Washington, serving as the 'White House rabbi.' He is married to Nechama (née Feldman) and they are parents to seven children. 

2. Rabbi Shemtov's 'shul' (synagogue) is at the heart of the city's Orthodox community. It may be small, with about 50 attendees each Shabbat, but during holidays and the High Holy Days, about 250 worshippers gather there. 

3. Over the years, Rabbi Shemtov's reputation has spread far and wide. Despite the small size of his 'shul,' it has become a favored spot among Jewish politicians, including Joe Lieberman and Jack Lew.
