A few days ago, Hiroshi Motohoshi walked into a restaurant in California and ordered $200 worth of sushi. While the sushi met his expectations, the service did not. It wasn't because the servers were slow or rude; rather, they weren't thrilled about his pet snake. Motohoshi didn't try to hide the snake—quite the opposite—he proudly showed it off to other diners.

At this point, several servers approached Motohoshi and politely but firmly asked him to leave, explaining that the establishment was a restaurant, not a zoo. Although annoyed, Motohoshi left, only to return moments later with a much larger snake—a four-meter-long python. 'To hell with you,' he declared, placing the snake in the middle of the restaurant before storming out.

Panic ensued, as expected. 'All the customers started shouting, "Get it out, get it out, you are crazy"...' recalled one waitress.

Los Angeles Fire Department arrived and captured the snake. It's uncertain if Motohoshi will ever be reunited with his beloved python, as authorities announced it would only be returned upon presentation of a legal snake-keeping permit. As quickly discovered by local media, the snake enthusiast from California has a notorious history of keeping reptiles without a license.
