Who is willing to invest $175 million in a gemstone weighing about 280 grams, recently discovered in a mine in Sri Lanka? The owner's identity remains anonymous, unlike the gem that was purchased at auction.

The original name of the sapphire is Blue Star, but the mysterious buyer decided to rename it 'The Star Of Adam' and described the deal this way: "The moment I saw the magical stone, I decided I had to buy it. I estimated it was the world's largest Blue Star sapphire, so I decided to go to the edge and take a gamble on it for the largest amount. It's too large to be set into any jewelry, but I believe we can find a worthy museum to display it," said the 'happy' buyer.
