The United States: This week, a flying car company received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to begin a series of tests on the prototype of the TF-X model car, expected to start in the coming months. For about a decade, the company, known as Terrafugia, has been developing the 'winged' large car, and according to the CEO, this is going to be one of the most thrilling experiences imaginable. "We predict it will revolutionize the way people commute today," said the company spokesperson, Ducch. He explained that drivers will undergo training that will allow them to pilot the car in a shorter period than it typically takes for an average pilot to learn to fly an aircraft.
In response to whether a special runway is needed to fly the car, Ducch replied, 'Absolutely not,' and added that the flying car will reach speeds of 200 mph, but will move on a regular road before takeoff and landing. Company representatives mentioned that there is great excitement about starting the tests since it is a program where maximum resources have been invested, and it marks an enormous progress towards the ultimate goal - marketing the car globally. So when will this happen, and how much will it cost? If everything proceeds smoothly, it is estimated that within eight to 12 years, we will witness this luxurious invention (which will cost no less than a sports car) with our own eyes.
