Love fish and dream of vacationing underwater? A U.S.-based company named Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel might just make that dream come true. This Florida-based company recently received approval for a groundbreaking patent: the world's first hotel to be built on the ocean floor, resembling floating rooms along its length.

The countries expected to participate in the project include Egypt, Cuba, Seychelles, the Maldives, Hawaii, Malaysia, the Philippines, and... Israel. However, it's still unclear which of these countries will 'fire the starting shot.' "Our goal is to create a luxury boutique hotel underwater, allowing guests to maximize their enjoyment of the magical scenery of crystal-clear waters and the unique fish and creatures that are discovered in depths of up to nine meters below the surface," said one of the project initiators.

Tony Webb, a renowned designer overseeing this fascinating project, said, "I see this as internal space tourism, and we're ready to launch this new industry into the ocean frontier." He also mentioned that part of his and other designers' vision is to build an 'elevator' adjacent to the hotel, allowing guests to ascend to the sea surface whenever they wish. How much will this delight cost per night? According to a company representative, "up to" $6,000. It's unclear who would be willing to pay such a price for a fleeting experience, but somehow the massive investment must be covered, right?

And what about the coral and fish environment—might it suffer from human leisure activities? According to Webb, the unique design technique that will be used for building this hotel not only won't harm the environment or disrupt ecological tranquility but will encourage 'new' settlement in the area and serve as an 'artificial' habitat for corals and fish.
