Massive Squid Caught Off the Coast of Spain
An enormous 10-meter squid was caught in a fishing boat's net off one of Spain's coasts. A fisherman described it as one of the largest squids they've seen in recent years.
Local fishermen caught a giant squid, measuring 10 meters, in their nets off the coast of Spain. One crew member of the fishing boat said, "This is one of the largest squids we've seen in recent years." The president of the fishing company added that in past years, his crew reported capturing a 60-legged 'creature' that they suspected to be a squid—though its identity was never scientifically confirmed.

"There are many legends about the fearsome squid that can sink fishing boats, and the struggle with this one certainly reminded us of those tales," remarked one of the fishermen. The Marine Animal Protection Authority in northern Spain stated that the squid will be sent for expert analysis.
