It all began with two young skateboarders skilled in the art of skating who decided to have a little fun: one of them dressed up as Aladdin riding a red flying carpet, and the other volunteered to skate behind and film him as he 'flew' joyfully through the narrow streets of New York.
It's no wonder New Yorkers were shocked by the peculiar sight!
