It all began last Friday when Kelly Black, a 42-year-old from Florida, was killed in a hit-and-run accident while walking her dog Paco. As she crossed the parking lot of a grocery store near her home, a truck driver who lost control struck her with force, dragging her body until it fell from the wheels on a major road in the area.

Passersby who witnessed the horror quickly alerted emergency services, but they arrived too late. Black was buried the same day, but since then, her dog has refused to leave the scene of the incident. "He lay there for hours, howling," reported a journalist sent to cover the tragic event. "The police tried to move him to collect evidence for the investigation, but the dog was steadfast and simply refused to leave." Eventually, the police called Black's family, whom Paco easily recognized and agreed to accompany them back home, a place he now shares with them.
