Is Hitler Hiding Inside a Hollow Earth?

How exactly did it transform from a Christian myth into a full-blown theory that captivates masses and relies on 'proven mathematical foundations'? We couldn't quite understand it. Although conspiracy theories abound, rest assured that the one before us is one of the most 'bizarre' out there.
The theory known as "Hollow Earth" got its name from the basic claim that somewhere on Earth, there's a huge, hollow crater where people, including Hitler himself, hide. Supporters of this theory explain it's a new 'underground' country that can be accessed via 'holes' located in various places around the world. The theorists even went further to say that just as people on the 'upper' Earth enjoy vegetation and 'normal' lives, so do those dwelling on the 'lower' Earth.
"I declare that the Earth is hollow and habitable. It contains solid shells, one inside the other, open at its poles at 12 or 16 degrees. I am prepared to explore this space," wrote Officer John Cleves Symmes in 1818, one of the early supporters of the theory. What do you think about that?
