Six-year-old Jayden Hayes from Georgia, USA, understands that in life, there's no use crying over 'spilled milk' and some things can't be undone. Recently, Hayes lost both his parents, who passed away just two years apart - but Hayes isn't one to crumble under sadness. On the contrary, Hayes insists there are too many people with 'sad faces' around, and it's time to do something about it. It's time to make them smile. Thus was born this young man's important project, dedicated to making people happy, no matter what.
For his noble goal, he stops random people on the street and asks them to smile. His important project even has a name: "The Smile Project," and helping him promote it is his aunt, his mother's sister. "When we decided to make people smile, this kid woke me up at five o'clock with ideas. He filled bags with candies, toys, and other delightful surprises to bring smiles to people's faces," the aunt shared. "Without him, I don’t think the project would have succeeded." When asked by people why he gives them the surprise bags, the little one sweetly replies: "Because you weren’t smiling, and I want you to smile."
In just two days, this little boy managed to cheer up about 300 people, and he plans to continue his actions as long as his aunt stands by his side and assists him. As far as she is concerned, it could last forever. "It's an important therapeutic process, and I’m glad he’s coping with the loss of his parents in such an optimistic and joyful way that also gives me the strength to deal with the terrible loss."
