Not everyone can handle such a complicated situation, but the firefighters at the Indianapolis station in the U.S. bravely rose to the challenge and managed to free the head of the mixed-breed pit bull from the tire in which it was trapped. In a rescue operation that lasted over half an hour, the firefighters fought for the dog's life and ultimately succeeded in freeing her without any harm, using various tools.
The situation was discovered by a young woman, about 20 years old, who regularly fed the stray dog and found her this time with her head entangled in the tire. The woman wasted no time: she placed the dog in her car and drove her as quickly as possible to the nearest fire station. "The dog arrived in stable condition, but it was clear from her expression that she was shaken by the situation and didn't really know how to help herself," the firefighters said.
At first, they attempted to free her head using water, soap, and oil. When that didn't work, the firefighters turned to other techniques. "We realized we had no choice but to use a tool that cuts car brake pedals. We managed to make several significant cuts into the tire, and this way, we were able to open the tire and extract her head," they said.
