A Tiny Terror of the Deep: New Fish Species Discovered
It may be the smallest fish found in the depths of the ocean, but don't be fooled: despite its tiny size, its black appearance and sharp teeth, this fish strikes fear into its prey. Wonders of creation.
This tiny and fearsome fish was recently discovered by researchers from the American organization CSIRO, conducting a study in a volcanic area near Australia's coast. This small fish measures no more than 2.5 cm, but with its black appearance and gaping sharp teeth, it can intimidate its surroundings. 'This discovery has the potential to change the way researchers study young fish,' said marine biologist Professor Ian Suthers, one of the study's leaders.
