Declan Trembley, a three-year-old from Canada, was joyfully riding his toy motorcycle. As he paused and looked around, a police officer approached and issued him a traffic fine for... parking in a non-parking spot.
Declan's father, who was nearby, captured Declan's priceless reaction in a delightfully amusing photo: the child's body language perfectly mirrored the feelings of any driver caught in a similar predicament. And why didn't the dad intervene with the officer? Because the whole scene was staged. Declan's parents conspired with the local police to give Declan a 'traffic ticket' due to his great fondness for police officers.
Little Offender
Later, the city police posted a photo of Declan receiving the ticket on their Facebook page: "Remember: You can't park your motorcycle here," the caption under the photo read. "We caught this rebellious rider here yesterday." Officer Sean Carey, who 'pulled over' Declan, said he was happy to participate and make Declan smile. "Even police officers like to have fun," he said.
And Declan? He loves the ticket he received so much, his parents say, that he insists on sleeping with it under his pillow.
