Shocking Discovery: 50-Year-Old Fetus Found Inside 92-Year-Old Woman

Chile: A 92-year-old woman was stunned by the shocking news from her doctors after an X-ray examination. For over 50 years, the elderly woman unknowingly carried an undeveloped fetus in her abdomen, weighing two kilograms and located outside her uterus. It all started when she fell and was rushed to the hospital due to abdominal pain. Doctors found that the fetus occupied most of her abdominal area, but decided not to remove it and discharged her without surgery, sending her home just as she came.

It is important to note that this is not the first case of such a phenomenon. In fact, since 1582, approximately 300 similar cases have been documented worldwide. Countries like Brazil, France, and Colombia have reported such instances, and doctors have a scientific name and explanation: LITHOPEDION. This occurrence happens when a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus. Since the egg cannot develop outside the womb, it calcifies, effectively turning to 'stone' inside the body.
