Something incredible happens in our brains when we think or feel: energy emerges, forming brainwaves. Korean artist Lisa Park decided to give this energy a visual form after realizing the mysterious power within her. She wanted to bring this power to life, making it tangible through 'cognitive' tools understandable by the human mind. "I began working with biological sensors because I asked myself, 'How can I make the invisible energy and emotions inside me visible?' When I experience a certain emotion, I believe the more than 60% water in the human body creates a vibration or energy. So, I wanted to create art that represents my inner self," Park explained in an interview about her artistic project.

So, how does this method actually work? The artist uses an electronic EEG system that reads her brainwaves and transmits the findings to a special computer. The computer employs a sophisticated algorithm to decipher the emotions behind the received signals, translating them into sound waves.

The sound waves play through speakers connected to a complex system of tubes linking Park’s water bowls. The vibration of the water droplets is created thanks to the sound of these waves. Amazing, isn't it?
