How would you react if you saw your plane being repaired with nothing more than a bit of tape? Well, this unsettling sight managed to captivate one particular passenger, who wasted no time in capturing the awkward scenario with his camera and posting it on Twitter.

The response from EASYJET, the employer of the worker, was also quick. According to them, this isn’t the first time their employees have employed such a technique. Why? Good question. The company claims the material is particularly strong and effective, although it may appear to be ordinary tape, and is often used for cosmetic repairs. "There is no concern that the plane's structure was held together by this material," wrote a company representative alongside the post titled "Final Destination" by the passenger, who added that it is for external use only, posing no risk to passenger safety. "What luck," replied the passenger, "because I just forgot to pack my parachute with me."
