It’s still unclear whether it’s a hobby, a new profession he plans to adopt, or just a persistent whim. For over 25 years, Ra Paulette, a seemingly ordinary man, has been carving intricate designs into the caves located in the high deserts of northern Mexico, diligently turning them into spectacular art spaces.

Initially, you might wonder what's so special about it. But this isn’t just another attempt to find gold underground. No, it’s a rare form of art, crafting living spaces complete with running water and modern carpets within these colossal caves. What's more, some of the caves Paulette has carved and designed include modern elements like parquet floors, ceramic tiles, mirrors, and carpets. They give the caves the look of an exclusive luxury hotel and provide Paulette with decent income (after all, 25 years of hard work isn’t for nothing, right?).

This venture allows Paulette’s skills in carving and design to run free, skills that perhaps were not expressed in the conventional way. However, Paulette insists it’s not an obsession. "When you do something you love and are passionate about, you want to do it all the time," he emphasizes in an interview.

Amazingly, Paulette has never studied architecture, doesn’t have an engineering degree, and never received any formal training for building his breathtaking structures. Uncommon but not impossible. Paulette considers himself a "wizard," possessing the power to work wonders in an empty space and bring joy to people.

Giant flowers, hearts, a mix of hues, and imaginative trees reaching up high—this stunning sight is just a fragment of what you’re about to see in this video. Ready? Buckle up and join us on a fascinating journey through realms of creation, love, and patience (which ultimately always pays off).
