Spring Makeover: 5 Colorful Ideas to Refresh Your Home
As spring and Passover arrive, they bring a sense of renewal and freshness. Whether it's the cleaning, the pleasant weather, or the blooming flowers, there's a desire to bring these cheerful colors into our homes. How can you do this with a few simple home styling tricks? Add *color* to your life.

Have you ever seen beautifully decorated rooms in a showroom or catalog and thought, "I wish I had the courage to design like that"? Somehow, displays, websites, and catalogs always look colorful, appealing, and stylish. So why doesn't reality look like that? Well, it turns out that with a few simple home styling tricks, you too can bring color into your home's design and give your living room or rooms the feel of a designer catalog. How do you do it right?
1. Start by daring a little. What if we painted one wall in a different color? How about turquoise? Light green? Peach pink? It's surprising how much a home can benefit from the addition of color. You can also paint just a part of the wall; you don't have to paint it all.

2. Don't want to paint the walls? Try colorful "peel-and-stick" wallpaper. These days, you can find very high-quality easy-to-apply wallpaper without the need for glue. A tip: look for quality, even if it's a bit more expensive. Don't be tempted by cheap wallpaper that's hard to apply (and even harder to remove).

3. Don't want to deal with the walls at all? Try accessories. You can vary with cushions on the sofa, buy colorful candlesticks, small rugs, or an interesting curtain. Anything is possible.

4. Have you decided to change your furniture this year and want to renew with something colorful and less conventional? Try buying a sofa in a different color than usual. The entire house will look different, and if you match the sofa with a similar curtain – you've got a catalog home.

5. You don't want to replace the furniture, but you do want to add some color to the existing pieces? You can do this by repainting with a paint specifically for furniture. If we're talking about simple wooden chairs, you can also change their upholstery. How? Buy fabric from a fabric store and send the chairs to an upholsterer who will refresh them for you for a few hundred dollars. Those with DIY skills can do it themselves, with a bit of patience and a good quality staple gun. Note: It's important to consult an expert before disassembling the chair. Not all chairs can be reupholstered easily, and sometimes it's worth investing in a professional to get a perfect result.
